Liz Booth - Owner
Liz started Lovely Elegance in January of 2015 as a way to be home with her son and have a flexible schedule while serving in the beauty industry. With 13 years of experience in the industry, she has a passion for working with women and helping them feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. She knew from early on in her experience in the beauty industry that she wanted to get out of the salon and work with women for their weddings, photoshoots and other special events!
Her favorite part of on-site weddings is “creating a stress-free environment for our brides, and helping them enjoy every moment of their special day!”
If you book a photoshoot or other event with Lovely Elegance, it’s quite possible you’ll be working with Liz as this has grown into her full-time job. She was able to step out of the salon in September 2018 and hasn’t looked back!
While Lovely Elegance is a huge part of her life, when she’s not working, you can find her spending time with her creative and hilarious little guy. You may hear stories about his silly antics when you spend time with her! Other than that, she loves being creative with other crafty projects, baking and spending time with her family, including her 3 nieces.
Katelyn Braddock - Hair & Makeup Artist
Katelyn joined Liz first on the Lovely Elegance Team, to Liz's excitement. She has 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, having worked at a local Aveda salon before switching full-time jobs. Currently she works full time in an administrative position but loves beautifying women for their weddings on the weekends!
Her favorite part of on-site weddings with Lovely Elegance is being able to see the behind the scenes and prep that goes into the bride’s beautiful day! She says, “There’s nothing more beautiful than two people in love.”
When she’s not working or making brides and their parties beautiful, you can find her with her husband and two little boys. They love going to parks, being outside, swimming, splash pads, zoos, libraries, sledding, reading books, playing games, and being silly.
Christine North - Hair Stylist
Christine was the second artist to join the Lovely Elegance team and has been with us since 2016. She is our Milwaukee-based hair stylist, so our Milwaukee brides may get the honor of working with her!
She’s currently renting a chair doing haircuts and colors at RAW (Real and Worthy) Beautie in Brookfield, helping women feel beautiful and worthy when she does their hair! Feel free to contact her for your haircut and color!
With 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, she loves seeing the trends change from year to year. Her favorite part of the wedding morning is meeting new people and sharing in that moment on someone’s special day.” She loves the energy and happiness that radiates out of the women she works with those busy mornings!
In the summer, when she’s not doing weddings with Lovely Elegance or making women’s hair gorgeous at RAW Beautie, you can find her enjoying the lake. Whether it’s boating, kayaking or paddle boarding you’ll find her near the water! She also loves shopping, rummage sales, antiquing and do-it-yourself projects.
Alyssa Sletten - Makeup Artist
Alyssa joined the Lovely Elegance team in 2019, and knew from a young age this is what she wanted to do! She was lucky enough to do makeup for her sisters wedding in 2015 and hasn’t looked back since!
She says, “I love being able to impact someone on one of the best days of their life.” Alyssa brings so much joy and talent to her brides and bridal parties! She also loves being on location to help reduce stress for brides and their girls, as well as being able to see the venue and dresses!
Who wouldn’t want to see how all the details fit together for the wedding?
When she’s not doing weddings for Lovely Elegance you can find her spending time with friends and family, including some small cousins that she adores and a new addition of a niece to the family!
She loves little ones, and can often be found babysitting, playing with makeup or checking out the new shows on Netflix or Disney+!
Kenzie Tway - Hair & Makeup Artist
Kenzie jumped into the Lovely Elegance family in 2018, after working in a salon with Liz for a few years. She has 6 years of experience in the beauty industry and currently works full-time in an administrative position.
We’re so lucky she missed beautifying brides and their ladies, and joined us!
She says her favorite part “is the weight that lifts from the wedding party. You are already where you need to be. You can relax and enjoy being taken care of by your beauty team.” She’s a calm presence to help keep you relaxed and present!
When she’s not busy working and teaming up with us, she is spending time with her husband, her one year old son, and their 2 cats and 2 dogs. You can find them enjoying their big backyard in the summer and curled up by their fireplace in the winter.
Hannah Wolfe - Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist
Hannah joined the team in 2019, and we’re so lucky she did! She brings 20 years of experience in the industry and is amazing with hair! It must run in the family for her, as she’s a 3rd generation hair stylist. How fun is that?
She loves being able to practice the art of hair, and weddings are the best for that! She says the best part is seeing the “smiles on peoples faces when they see their hair as well as transforming clients’ visions into their perfect style”. She’s extremely talented and can pick apart a picture and figure out exactly what will work for her clients.
Outside of her busy schedule with Lovely Elegance, she is a military wife and mother of two. When she has free time, she enjoys art, do-it-yourself projects, volunteering, wellness and traveling.
